The Greatest Challenge
The MDW ZOO Camp is back for its 10th edition — an epic six-day training adventure on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, from 18–24 October 2026. This year's theme is 'The Greatest Challenge': an edged-weapons mindset transferred to empty hand vs edged weapons.
The camp runs for six days with 4–4.5 hours of training each day, plus a mid-week recovery day so you can rest, explore the island, and come back sharp. The focus is on integrating mindset and physical skills — not just to survive an edged-weapons confrontation, but to dictate the outcome.
Each day you train a focused session with Mark first, then work with one of the MDW international trainers. Sessions are challenging and hard work — but first-timers are paired with mentors so you always have guidance and are never left behind. For those who have been around the block with us, expect the rust to come off and your level to climb.

Earn Your MDW ZOO Name
A tradition at every ZOO Camp: each participant earns their animal name, based on their fighting style, character and mindset. It's awarded on the last day of the camp at the Animal Naming Ceremony.

Venue & Accommodation
The Martial Arts Retreat training area and pool at GREENLIGHT are reserved exclusively for the MDW camp — right in the heart of Fisherman's Village and Koh Samui nightlife.
Option 1 — On-site (first-come, first-served): Per-person prices range from AUD $825–$950 for 7 nights, catering for 16–20 guests depending on single or sharing rooms. Course-goers are welcome to extend their stay before or after.
Option 2 — Nearby: If you book late or are on a budget, our host can point you to other accommodation within walking distance of the resort and training venue.
Accommodation is booked directly with Patrick Kell at GREENLIGHT (see below). Don't worry if numbers run high — the venue has confirmed it can accommodate the group.
